Festival of Trees – Open from November 21 to January 6, this annual juried tree and mantle competition draws visitors from Mount Laurel and beyond. These trees are decorated in a variety of designs, with inspiration ranging from the 18th century through today. They’re all placed throughout the Morven Museum and Garden which teaches local history and was the home of an original signer of the Declaration of Independence.
Palmer Square Tree Lighting – On Friday, November 23rd, this annual tradition kicks off the holiday shopping season. Come see 32,000 lights on a 65-foot-tall Norwegian Spruce. There will be musical performances as well as a special visit from a jolly man in a red suit — Santa! The lighting ceremony starts at 5:00 pm and lasts for one hour.
